Honest Answer..... It depends on where you need them. Here's a start for you...
The characteristics of the areas being surveilled by security cameras are different. Some may be large and spacious, such as your parking lot, the warehouse, and only one security cameras is far from enough; some areas might only need one surveillance camera, such as your reception, the kitchen, the back entrance, etc.
List the places where you need to install the security cameras and you could count roughly how many security cameras you need. Here's our example:
- Front yard
- Reception door
- Entrance
- Store room
- Back yard
- Office area
- Break out areas
- Eating area
- Warehouse
- Loading bays
- Emergency exits
- High-interest assets
- Work shop
- Tills or counters
You wouldn’t need to install security cameras at all those places, but a list is the first step to know exactly how many security camera you need for your buildings security.
